Keep Haralson Beautiful is partnering with Haralson County Solid Waste Authority to allow the residents of the County and its’ municipalities the opportunity to clean-up around your homes and dump for free. Please refer to our calendar for dates.

The C&D Landfill at 224 Budapest Cemetery Road will be open to allow free dumping. This Free Day is for Haralson County Residents Only.  Beginning at 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Clean-up around your home and bring to the landfill for free.  This Free Day is for Haralson County Residents Only. This DOES NOT apply to businesses in the county or it’s municipalities.

In 2023 the City of Tallapoosa and the City of Buchanan participated in the Great American Cleanup for their cities.  They removed approximately 500 pounds of garbage from their city streets and Buchanan planted 10 flower pots around the courthouse.
