Everyone knows trash in the river is not good for the environment or the inhabitants of the river.  Each year groups pick a section to paddle and remove the trash.  Over the years Keep Haralson Beautiful has sponsored some of these events and help supply the bags, pickers and whatever is needed to keep the river clean.

RIVER CLEANUP PLEDGE

Every year, National River Cleanup® volunteers pull tons of trash out of our rivers. Let’s stop some of that trash from getting in the river in the first place.  If you need supplies for your cleanup event reach out to keepharalsonbeautiful@gmail.com or call the office at 770-630-8946. We loan supplies for all your cleanup needs: cloth net bags for the river, trash bags for the land, litter pickers for hard-to-reach places, vests, gloves.
